Teach Yourself How to Quit Smoking the Hard Way

The message of this website is that quitting smoking is not about putting responsibility on smoking cessation products to do it for you. Rather, it is about acknowledging that because you got yourself into smoking on your own, by making a choice, it is now your responsibility to unchoose it. And the resources on this website will teach you how to stop smoking... and make that choice yourself.

Key points.

You made the decision to smoke. Yes, you made the choice to start smoking. Because of this, you are going to make the choice to quit. When you start thinking about smoking cessation products, it's just another excuse. You put yourself into this situation by making a choice. And in the same way you will work your way out of it. You will quit smoking by making that choice. No product can do this for you. Smoking cessation programs and companies who create them just want your money.

Quitting smoking is free. Making the choice to quit smoking is free and it is an exercise in personal development. If you can develop strength to end this habit, imagine what else you can use this strength for later on in your life?

How strong is your will? To quit smoking means to overpower your habit of smoking. Quitting smoking is hard, especially after doing it for so many years. And in some cases, the smoker will never really get rid of the desire to smoke. But if you really want to quit smoking, and want to take advantage of the reasons of why it is important, then you must develop a strong will to do it. There is no other way.

Stop letting others take advantage of you. And take control of yourself and your life. You gave up control when you made the decision to smoke that first cigarette. You have paid in hundreds or thousands of dollars to companies but there was also a greater expense -- your health. By thinking about products that might help you quit smoking you are making the same mistake again. You are giving control to product makers who don't even care whether you quit smoking or not. Now... that's not exactly what the makers of the products that are designed to "help" you would say, would they? It's not in their best interests. Because of this, you must take the responsibility to quit smoking yourself.

Is it just old people? Statistics show that mostly old people are at risk of cancer, an illness often associated with smoking. But if all the younger people who died because of smoking are already dead... how can they ever be part of that statistic? How can a dead person be affected by risk of smoking? They can't, because they are already dead!

Stick to the methods explained on this page and don't buy any anti-smoking products.
